ARTUR TUZNIK

Artur Tuznik is an award-winning Polish piano player and composer based in Copenhagen, Denmark, active on European scene for jazz and improvised music both as a bandleader and sideman.

His recognizable musical voice is strongly influenced by language of impressionism and folk music of his origins, but rooted in sound known as Scandinavian jazz. Tuznik, as a composer and pianist, is skilfully interpreting classical music repertoire with his very own time and virtuosity.

In the recent years Artur has been nominated to Danish Music Awards as a composer, released several albums with his music, took part in dozen of records as a sideman and received awards on international jazz competitions in Europe. Tuznik is considered one of the most promising European pianists of his generation. In various projects, he shared the stage and/or recorded with Tomasz Stanko, Jeremy Pelt, Rudi Mahall, Anders Christensen, Maciej Obara, Tomasz Dabrowski, Anders Mogensen and many more.
